Call to Prayer

Music Worship, Altar Call, and Prayer (special prayer for Israel today)

Shemah Israel

“Hear, O Israel, יהוה our Elohim is one יהוה. And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart. And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets before your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.” — יהוה, Deuteronomy 6:4-9

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Continue in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father‘s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken to you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does. But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that you love one another.” — ישוע, John 15:9-17

Torah Reading

“Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried out, ‘Get every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren. And he wept aloud. And the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard. And Joseph said to his brethren, ‘I am Joseph; does my father yet live?’ And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said to his brethren, ‘Come near to me, I pray you.’ And they came near. And he said, ‘I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here. For God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years has the famine been in the land. And yet there are five years in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me here, but God. And he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. Be quick and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph, ‘God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me, wait not. And you shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you, and your children, and your children's children, and your flocks, and your herds, and all that you have. And there will I nourish you; for yet there are five years of famine; lest you, and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty. And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that it’s my mouth that speaks to you. And you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; and you shall be quick and bring my father down here.’ And Joseph fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck. Moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them. And after that, his brethren talked with him. And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, ‘Joseph's brethren have come. And it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Say to your brethren, ‘This do; load your beasts, and go, get you to the land of Canaan; and take your father and your households, and come to me. And I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land. Now you are commanded, this do; take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come. Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is your’s. And the children of Israel did so. And Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way. To all of them he gave each man changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment. And to his father he sent after this manner; ten asses loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten she asses loaded with grain and bread and meat for his father by the way. So he sent his brethren away, and they departed. And he said to them, ‘See that you fall not out by the way.’ And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, and told him, saying, ‘Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt!’ And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not. And they told him all the words of Joseph, which Joseph had said to them. And when Jacob saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived. And Israel said, ‘It’s enough; Joseph my son is yet alive. I will go and see him before I die.’” — Genesis 45

Gospel Reading

“At that time the disciples came to Yeshua, saying, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ Yeshua called a little child to him and set him in the midst of them, and said, ‘Truth I say to you, unless you are changed and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whoever shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name receives me. Whoever offends one of these little ones who believes in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses. Yes, offenses must come; but woe to the man by whom the offense comes! Therefore, if your hand or your foot offends you, cut them off and cast them from you! It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the fires of Gehinnom. If your eye offends you, pluck it out, and cast it from you! It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones. I say to you, that in heaven their guardian angels continually behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. The Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go into the mountains and seek that which has gone astray? If he finds it, truth I say to you, he rejoices more for that one sheep, than for the ninety-nine which did not stray. Even so, it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Moreover, if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he shall hear you, you have gained your brother; but if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he shall neglect to hear them, tell it to the kehilah – but if he refuses to hear the kehilah, let him be the same to you as a heathen or a publican. Truth I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you shall agree on earth as touching [concerning] anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”-Matthew 18:1-20
